HTML Code Blocks now support live preview, with improved UI — toggle line numbers and code wrapping for a better editing experience.

AI workspace Embedding

In version 0.22, AFFiNE AI introduces Workspace-level Embedding support!

AI can now understand the full context of your workspace, offering smarter suggestions and more relevant feedback.You can enable Workspace Embedding, track its progress, manually upload files to enrich the context, and manage an ignore list to fully control what information AI uses.

AI Search & Reason

We've optimized the feature of AI search and citations. Now, AI search is deeper, and the citation information is clearer than ever.

New all doc & Collection

We have redesigned the All docs page. Now you can choose your preferred view among List, Card, and Masonry. By clicking the Display button, you can access more detailed view controls. You can set Grouping/Ordering or control which properties or information to display, and you can also enable features like multi-select checkboxes and opening tabs.

If you are collaborating in a team, displaying the document creator is very necessary. Using the card view, grouping by update date, and then sorting by creator might be a good view option.

If you are a knowledge management enthusiast, displaying more docs and using the list view, removing complex property information, and managing content only by document titles is also a good choice.

Collection

We have updated the capabilities of the Filter, and now you can filter more content. You can now filter almost all attribute content and build powerful automated filters through filter combinations. We have also added relative date filters related to dates, such as the last three days, this month, etc. Finally, on the all docs page, you can pin collections to the top for quick access.

Embed doc with Alias

One of AFFiNE's unique use cases, is that you can structure complex documents piece by piece on edgeless canvas, and view the final output in page mode.

To better support this workflow, we've enhanced our embedded document functionality. Now, you can insert an embedded document from the edgeless canvas into a page with just one click. Additionally, you are now able to duplicate a note from that embed, enabling you to modify it without impacting its source. You can then use this tailored note as a chunk to seamlessly integrate into your document, just as a usual note.

Journal & Calendar Integrations

In version 0.22, we’ve added calendar integration. Now you can subscribe to your email calendar via URL, view your events directly in the AFFiNE Journal’s sidebar, and quickly create linked documents

In this update, we’ve added ‘created time’ and ‘created by’ properties, enabling users to collaborate more effectively

We have optimized the clipboard experience, and now both multi-image and multi-file uploads will be smoother
